There was an existing problem with Gigabyte mobo not picking up the W7 bootable drive so I had to go to their website and download the "Windows 7 Installation Tool". List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.

I realize that having an optical drive so I can install the drivers on the Mobo CD would be a big help. The USB controller shows as "not installed" with a yellow exclamation point under Device Manager along with a few other drivers.
